Reception have started an Expressive Art and Design project. We have been exploring how artists make observations and try to replicate what they see using pencil marks. We observed a flower and discussed what shapes could be found within it. We discussed and compared two different pieces of artwork and shared what we thought about them. We then tried to replicate different shapes using a variety of mark making techniques.
