Uniform Information

Wearing school uniform plays a valuable role in helping our children to feel like they are part of the Heronswood family.

Wearing school uniform will:

  • Instill a sense of pride
  • Promote positive behaviour and discipline
  • Ensure pupils from all backgrounds feel welcome
  • Protect children from social pressures to dress in a particular way
  • Nurture cohesion and promote good relationships between different groups of pupils

Parents and Carers are asked to ensure that their children follow our dress code at all times.

In addition, we request that all items of school uniform are clearly labelled with the child’s name as uniform is mislaid on a regular basis by children.
