Our Pre-School classroom for 3 and 4-year-olds is situated within the school building next to our two Reception classes. It is a bright, vibrant and engaging space that has been specifically designed and created with children in mind. The room has dedicated zones to enable the children to learn about the world around them, in fun and exciting ways. Specific areas for maths, role play, writing, art and crafts, phonics, construction and reading, ensure children are exposed to a wide and balanced curriculum. 

Outside we have a purpose built area for our children to enjoy with climbing frames, sand pits, water trays, a loose parts and construction areas.   The whole space is an area where they can safely run and play, climb and explore.

Our staff encourage and develop warm relationships which enable children to flourish and develop their personal and social skills; preparing them fully for their transition to primary school.

Morning Session – 8:30am – 11:45am (3 ¼ Hours )  =  £17.88

Afternoon Session – 11:45pm – 3:00pm (3 ¼ Hours)  =  £17.88

Full Day Session – 8:30am – 3:00pm (6 ½ Hours)  =  £35.75

Friday Afternoon Session - 12:30pm-3:00pm (2 ¾ Hours) = £15.50

At Heronswood Pre-School we offer:

- Funding for 3 year olds accepted 15 hours per week or 30 hours per week if families qualify)

- Wrap around care can also be accessed in school from 7:30am – 6:00pm (5.30pm on Fridays) (Before and After School Club)

- Holiday Club open every holiday (except for Christmas and 1 week in the summer) - 8:00am-5:00pm (£35 per day)
